Senior Materials Analyst, TEM | Nanolab Technologies

Primary function would be TEM/STEM imaging of client samples by using JEOL and FEI electron microscopes. The successful candidate will work as part of a team and be expected to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques.Work Schedule: 5pm-4am, Fridays to Mondays (x4days/10hrs)Responsibilities:Work on transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) with an understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics and failure analysis.Perform Bright Field/Dark Field imaging using TEM/STEM, interpreting data for customers.Advise customers regarding nanotechnology technical research and development issues through on-site analysis and discussions.Create summary reports to capture the project objectives, analysis data and interpretation of the results.Coordinate workflow with other team leads and collaborate to provide total solutions to our customers.Partner with vendors to understand tool performance and develop new techniques to improve throughput; perform basic tool maintenance and calibration.Train junior technicians on TEM imaging.
